An Unexpected Turn

Well my life has always been crazy...but let me tell you that lately it seems to be even more crazy. Orignally I wasn't going to be able to go back to school this semester but God had more plans than having me be out of school for the semester. Classes started on Aug 25 and I get an email on the 26th that said that I had been put to a review commitee and I was the recipient of a scholarship that allowed me to come back to school. I moved in on Wednesday and started my classes late on thursday but that is ok because I am back here where I am suppose to be at least for another semester. But so that has been how my week and first few days back have been....full of surprises. I got right back into everything starting Wednesday night. I went and helped my sorority with the dorm rush that we had which went pretty amazing and then Saturday we had a carwash so now I am sunburned very similar to lobster colors. I am finishing unpacking today (hopefully) and doing homework.

Here is to the Start of something different

Well! Hello out there my fellow internet users. Welcome to my life! I have choosen to begin to blog becuase I like writing and I have always told people that my life is an open book ......so I thought to myself why not really make it an open book...lol. Right now I am still adjusting to life outside of my job that I had this summer which was the most AmAzInG job on the planet! I worked with the NCBA at Fort Caswell which for those of you who don't know is a camp that hosts thousands of campers all coming together to worship Christ. It was awesome. Yes I know....I only worked in the cafeteria serving food to them but let me just tell you that has been one of the most rewarding experiences....Each meal we got to make connections and see what the campers had learned throughtout their week long stay. It was truly a God blessed summer....I was able to see hundreds of youth decide to dedicate their lives to Christ and that is awesome.
Now don't get me wrong I am definitely not a bible thumping Christian...I am not the person who will try to shove their opinions donw your throat...I am not going to be that person...because that is just not who I am...I am however not afraid to share my opinions. So if you do ask me be ready for my answer...lol.
Yeah....so I am suppose to move into school this coming saturday however I am not sure if I will be because I am waiting on my financial aid package to push through which I have faith will. If it doesn't there is a purpose. So yeah my whole pioint was if my postings on here get sparse keep in mind I am a college kid who's life may be quite boring and may very well be filled with lots and lots of school work...after all I am a nursing major....lol.
So for now this is the end of this post. I look forward to blogging more in the near future.
